TurtleShop.com is an application and content provider (postcard software, pictures, etc). Our website users visit this site to view, select, compose, send and receive computer generated postcards. Pinpoint Graphics, as the publisher of TurtleShop.com, strongly believes in protecting the privacy of its website visitors and users. Real e-mail addresses are required to send any of our postcards. TurtleShop.com prohibits anonymous, abusive and unsolicited postcards. However, Turtleshop.com cannot be held responsible for postcard messages created by our users.

The Protection Of Your Private Data

All submitted names and e-mail addresses are only used for the purpose intended by the users of this website: The sender's and the recipients' e-mail data is stored on our server until the postcard expires after 14 days. After the expiring date all data is deleted and cannot be recovered. We do not extract and deal with e-mail addresses. Turtleshop.com personnel does not read your messages and will not reveal your data and messages to anyone unless forced to do so by court order.

Jeff Turtle's Newsletter is sent to people who have willingly submitted their e-mail addresses to this service. The list with the newsletter subscribers is kept seperately from all other user data. Anyone may subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.

Jeff Turtle's Address Book And Reminder Service is a free service that stores e-mail addresses and other personal data. TurtleShop.com does not review the member accounts. No data will be used for other than the designated purposes. Lost passwords can be retrieved by an automatic software routine. TurtleShop.com support personnel will not hand out passwords that cannot be recovered automatically. All account holders may be contacted by TurtleShop.com for technical update information regarding this service. For this reason there is a seperate mailing list.

The Use Of Log File Statistics

Most webservers write log files. So does this one. Among other information, log files reveal when, for how long, from which other website a user was visiting and which IP-Number was used. TurtleShop.com collects the log file information to create general, not personalized website statistics. For security reasons, TurtleShop.com also logs the date and the IP-number for each postcard. This data is stored together with the postcard file and is deleted 14 days after the delivery date when the postcard expires.
