Availability Of Service
It is at TurtleShop.com's discretion to interrupt,
change or terminate the offered services anytime without
prior notice. User data such as but not limited to postcard
files or e-mail notifications may get lost or deleted.
There is no reimbursement, liability, warranty or guarantee
whatsoever. With other words: Don't try to hold us responsible
because a postcard was not picked up by its recipient.
We do our very best to deliver all your postcards but
there are many ways how a postcard could get lost. For
important and/or classified messages we strongly recommend
to use the good old snail mail or courier services.
Rule of thumb: Don't send in our digital postcards what
you would not send in your e-mail.

Unsolicited And Abusive E-Mail
TurtleShop.com is not responsible for unsolicited or
abuse digital postcards and therefore cannot be held
liable for what damage ever might occur as the result
of such e-mail. Take it this way: If a weirdo goes to
his local mail office and buys a valentine card plus
the stamps for it, writes a flaming text message on
it and mails it to his ex, would you blame the postal
service for his misconduct? Now the postal service delivers
that greeting card to the ex-wife's house where she
is terribly upset about what he had written. Would she
blame the mail man for having delivered that message?
Exactly the same applies here: TurtleShop.com supplies
the greeting cards and an electronic mail man to get
the message out there. With other words: Please don't
try to start the argument that we might be responsible
for what our users write and to whom they send it to.
However, spamming and abuse is a serious matter. Our
terms and conditions
expressively prohibit it. Please report abuse
to us. Unfortunately there is no way to stop someone
from sending unsolicited messages: The abusive person
can sign up for thousands of free e-mail accounts using
different dial-up ISPs so that it is impossible to block
that person out. The only way for the victim is to give
up the abused e-mail account, open a new one and keep
it secret to the offender.
